ADELLE T. QUINTANA, MD
BOARD CERTIFIED IN DERMATOLOGY

Dr. Quintana trained in Cutaneous Laser Surgery and Mohs Micrographic Surgery at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York. There she participated in research projects that contributed in the improvement of accepted techniques and approval of new laser systems for the treatment of leg telangiectasias, hair removal, tattoo removal and birthmarks.

In addition to developing her private practice, Dr. Quintana continued her interest in investigation. She was involved in several research projects that helped new products like Restylane®, Perlane® and Dysport®, get FDA approval.

Dr. Quintana is an attending physician at NYU Medical Center and New York Medical College, where she also teaches the Dermatology residents. In addition, she has privileges at North Shore Hospital in Manhasset.

Dr. Quintana specializes in skin cancer, cosmetic procedures and diseases of the skin, and is a member of many local, national and international medical societies including Fellow American Academy of Dermatology, Fellow American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology, and Fellow American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Quintana was also voted Newsweek’s “Best in New York Dermatology 2010".
